alright well it looks like updates are a monthly thing right now.

The past month has been fairly busy with Rock It! happening twice a month and Armadillo. This month the nights are happening on consecutive weeks which should give me an idea how feasible a weekly might be. I am still not convinced that davis can support such a night, the attendence at this one will be a pretty good indicator. I would really like to get a steady 150 people out each time, but so far I have been unable to replicate January's success. The last one in Feb. was kinda a disappointment, only about 80 people showed, which is the second smallest attendence that I have had. I am going to try to chalk it up to bad weather and a bad week, and hope that this sunday is a good one. I think my sets have been getting better, and people seem to agree for the most part. It is really interesting to see what goes over well with my crowd and what doesn't. For example, Kelly Clarkson is always a big hit, but Justin Timberlake totally divided the dancefloor last time. I just bought a mixer, so now I will be able to fool around at home/possibly use it to DJ at other stuff. I am hoping that it will also help to improve my mixing.
